BUFF grit is the final step in the stone polishing process.
The highest quality PREMIUM class
Color: White polishing pigment - exceptional high gloss on light materials
Brief procedure:
- we start on a slightly wet stone and lightly sprinkle with water during polishing
- temperature arises between the wheel and the polished material, the polishing mixture is released from the wheel
- we maintain a higher working temperature at which the water evaporates, but be careful of burning the stone (white traces remain in the gloss)
- proper polishing is accompanied by a temperature at which enamel forms on the surface of the stone (high gloss)
The use:
diameter 100 mm: The most used diameter in stonework. A suitable tool for ordinary stone mason hand machines, as well as for modern side machines
diameter 125 mm: Tool for larger hand machines and side polishers. Larger working area of the tool = faster processing = saving energy (water, electricity, time)
diameter 150 mm: For shoulder grinders, continuous side machines
