Protective coatings
The protective coating is the final step that determines how the stone will look “in a year” – not just today after installation. A properly selected impregnation or protective coating helps to reduce absorbency, limit the formation of stains (water, oil, grease), facilitate routine maintenance and, in many cases, also enhance the color of the surface. In this category, you will find protective products for various types of stone and applications in both interior and exterior applications – including systems that work with a “wet effect” (highlighting the structure) and solutions for universal protection. The offer includes products from the AKEMI and Bellinzoni brands and several packaging variants.
When choosing, it is worth considering whether the surface is polished or sanded, what is the porosity of the material (marble vs. granite vs. sandstone) and what is the real load (kitchen, bathroom, floor, stairs). Before application, the substrate must be clean, dry and degreased – otherwise the effect is significantly reduced. If you want a long-term stable result, choose a coating according to the specific usage scenario and follow the recommended application procedure.
