Stone antique brushes
... is the treatment of the surface of the stone, where the material is unevenly removed using the hairs of the grinding brush wheel. This creates a smooth and at the same time uneven surface, also called leather skin, antique or ancient effect.
It is the first grains that shape the surface of the stone. Subsequently, grits #60 and #120 smooth out traces of coarse sanding grain (scratches). Subsequent grits emphasize the color and subsequently the shine of the stone surface.
As a final step, we recommend high-quality stone impregnation. Whether you choose color enhancement chemistry or just water and oil protection, choose a trained or certified contractor. Improper use risks irreversible damage to the material.
